Lin Bourie went on a mission trip to LaRomana with a group from her church.  She was so devastated by the horrendous conditions, that she was determined to do something to help these poor little children.  She was introduced to the "Christ Story Bracelet" through a group of Junior High School CCD students who were making bracelets for a mission trip.  She adopted their enthusiasm and began making these one of a kind bracelets.  Her mom and some close friends started beading and soon realized what a wonderful way this was to share Christ and earn money for the children in LaRomana.  The money from the sale of these bracelets goes directly to the schools in the bateys.

For every bracelet you purchase, you can know that you are contributing to the education of a child.  The amount of $15 seems small to us, but to the poverty stricken people in LaRomana, it is a gift beyond compare.  Not only will you be helping a child, but you will also be sharing the story of Jesus to all who question you about your "Story Bracelet".  The cost is so little but the reward is so great.  You CAN help change a life.
