You can experience the joy of giving a gift of education to an underprivileged child for $15.00.  Each time you purchase a "Christ Story Bracelet" you will be helping to fund a child's education and food.

The money from the sale of these bracelets goes to The Good Samaritan Mission Council in LaRomana, Dominican Republic.  The children live in the bateyes in LaRomana and work in the sugar cane fields because their parents cannot afford to send them to school.

Poverty is so great in this country, that most of these children don't have a pair of shoes and very little clothing.  Disease is rampant and they have no vitamins or medicine of any kind.  The families work in the sugar cane fields, earning less than $40.00 per week. The children that don't have the opportunity to attend school, end up working in the fields.  Approximately $100.00 will purchase a uniform, books, and food for a child for an entire year.
